About Urban League of Racine & Kenosha
Established in 1910, the National Urban League is the nation’s oldest and largest community-based movement devoted to empowering African Americans to enter the economic and social mainstream. The National League of Racine & Kenosha is one of more than 100 local affiliates of the NUL providing direct services to more than 2 million people nationwide through programs, advocacy and research.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower people of color and others in underserved communities to achieve their highest human potential, attain financial stability and proper progressive education that will change their lives. We promote economic empowerment through education and job training, housing and community development, entrepreneurship, health and quality of life programs, workshops and counseling.
